Outreach announces smart views to help users tackle workflows faster

Introduction

Today, I'm excited to announce that we have officially released Smart Views within Outreach.

Now, if you're familiar with Salesforce views, you'll know immediately how important Smart Views are for helping you kick off specific workflows. At a high level, smart views help you find specific subsets of records quicly, on any object, based on filtering criteria - sort of like a saved search.

In many cases, users are starting with a subset of accounts, or a segment of prospects, that kick off a particular workflow. Let's take a look!

The Demo

To create a smart view on prospects, simply create a search of prospects based on any sets of fields. Once your search is created, go to your smart views dropdown, and select Save As New View.

When creating a new smart view, users have the ability to name it, and determine if any other users can see it. After saving this view, users can set it as their default view for this model, in this case prospects, by choosing the dropdown next to the view name, and choosing Make Default.

The next time you visit the prospects section using the left-hand navigation, this smart view will be your default view.

Additional Information

Creating smart views are as flexible as your imagination, and you should think about how you might use them for smarter workflows on top of sequences, templates, accounts, users and more.

For templates and sequences, it's very common to create views based on tags, as it allows new sequences to fall within a view merely by being tagged.
